Garland Gift Card

During my time in at home at the beginning of summer I worked on a few projects to share my creativity. I found taking time to make art for just the simple joy of making (and not selling) a great way to relax.

As it wasn’t possible to access some of the lovely independent shops where I normally buy cards I decided to make up my own designs to send to friends and loved ones.

This card design is made by painting 4 stems vertically on a folded card. Space out 4-5 painted leaves evenly down the stem. Next cut a selection of florals from old magazines and packaging roughly smaller than 2p coin. Then the fun bit, collage the flowers onto the vines in a pattern you like and glue into place.
